Website Traffic Report

Posted by Dan on March 24, 2011

Our website www.workingwildolympics.com is getting individual, 350+ to 435 on Tues., computer hits every day. These are not repeat ones, but separate IP’s.  The .com is the best one to get directly to our site, the .org will bring up theirs on some search engines due to the similarity and theirs has been up longer and had more hits.

We also grabbed the domain names  wildolympic.org    ( no “s”)
                                                             wildolympic.com  ( no “s”)
                                                 workingwildolympic.org   ( no “s”)
workingwildolympic.com  ( no “s”)          When you go to battle – you go prepared!!

We are adding an action tab and supporters tab. Anyone can post info, our webmaster will filter and place.  We have received only one negative post – a gal wrote you should change your pictures to clearcuts and chainsaws. This did not get posted. Keep sending info in.  Dan

As someone who has spent 30 years working on wildlife and habitat issues, this attempted land-grab  Wildolympics Campaign is totally wrong for so many reasons. It’s unnecessary to place a name on lands that are already functioning as wild and scenic, to restrict public access by designating areas as Wilderness and worst of all placing working forestland into a New “Park Preserve” – that holds a gun to your head under ”willing seller”.
